How to get here
By Vehicle
Take the Southern Expressway, exit at Mattala — ~30 min to Kataragama. The Colombo–Kataragama main road via Hambantota also works well.
By Train
Colombo Fort to Beliatta station, then bus to Kataragama. Scenic Southern Province views along the way.
By Air
Domestic light aircraft from Colombo. Mattala Rajapaksa Airport nearby. Airport pick-up can be arranged on request.
